ASQ - the Arabella Sprot Quartet

Date:
Saturday, 12 May, 2012 - 19:30
Location:
Plume of Feathers, Half Moon street, Sherbone, DT9 3LN

Arabella Sprot is an excellent young tenor saxophonist who has recently returned from a year studying in Graz, Austria.

Her new line-up consists of fabulous guitarist Mark Lawrence, the ubiquitous Will Harris on bass,

and John Randall on drums. The music is mainly Arabella's own compositions, with some numbers from contemporary writers

such as Kenny Wheeler and maybe even a bit of Frank Zappa thrown in. This is a tight musical unit - not to be missed.

Doors open 7.30pm
Band onstage 8pm
