Described by Robert Wyatt as 'brilliant, the bees knees’, Sarah Gillespie is a critically acclaimed Anglo-American singer-songwriter known for mixing jazz, folk and middle-eastern blues with her trademark poetic lyricism. Her 2 albums ‘Stalking Juliet’ (2009) and ‘In the Current Climate’ (2011) received rave reviews from the broadsheet and music press. Sarah has toured extensively in the UK and Europe playing festivals, theatres and arts centres with her quartet featuring maverick saxophonist and composer Gilad Atzmon. sponsored by the PRS British female composers award.
